Progress Update

Since Hollie and I had to start our editing again we have put a lot of our class time and extra hours into the editing. I  have done other ancillary tasks and started my evaluation but my main focus was the construction as we had a lot to catch up on.


We have a few more clips to film and then the rest is editing and making sure all our clips come in on the right time.

Evaluation Plan

Question 1: 

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? 

Prezi
- using final cut pro on the macs, using serif page plus for digipak, using wix website software for the website. Pros and cons for all and say which one was easiest to use and the most efficient. 
- genre conventions - band in video, own instruments, fitting pace of the music, performance. say why we have used these conventions to show our genre.
- We used some of these conventions in our video so it is easily recognisable as an indie music video, but then we also went against some of these conventions to make our video stand out from the others.
- have pictures of our music video showing where the conventions have been used and give examples of where they have been used.

Question 2:
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

Glogster/Padlet 
- images of all three tasks that ive done showing how they link together. say why i have chosen these links. The links could include colour schemes, band name, font of writing, lighting, location, members of the band.
-use of images, colour schemes to link them together and to also show the audience what genre of music it is. 


Question 3:
What have you learned from your audience feedback?

film 
- have a questionnaire and ask people about the video. say how their feedback might of chanegd from the beginning of the task to then the end of the task and how you have put the audiences imput into the video and ancillary tasks.
-film them watching the video and looking at the other tasks. this will then help show what their true reaction is of the video.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

-progression from AS to A2, talk about the use of prezi, blogger, padlet, poplet, emaze and other forms of technologies used in the evaluation stage of A2 and AS and say why you may have chosen different ones for A2 - advantages and disadvantages
